JULY PUBLIC MEETING
Thank you to everyone who attended the July 21st meeting at Aldinga Library. Local historian Tom Gara, gave a talk about the fascinating History of the Pebble Bank. A summary of the talk is in August-September Coastal Views page 13.

ABRA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
All newsletter subscribers are invited to the ABRA AGM on Sunday September 14th at 2pm. Afternoon tea provided.
All current ABRA financial members will receive an invitation and agenda by email later this week. If you don’t receive one and believe you are a financial member, please email membership@abra.org.au as soon as possible. And if you are not a member, please consider joining. Only current financial members can vote at the AGM.
JOIN ABRA
To join ABRA, head to the website abra.org.au, complete your details at ‘Join ABRA’ and pay your fees by direct deposit to the bank account. Membership applications are approved each month at the next committee meeting. To check your membership status or ask questions contact membership@abra.org.au.
There will be some vacancies on the committee and a minimum of eight people are required to form a new committee. Members who reside in Aldinga, Aldinga Beach, Port Willunga, and Sellicks Beach can nominate for a position at the AGM.
If you enjoy reading Coastal Views, our public meetings, keeping up to date with important local issues, and you have a few hours to spare, please consider nominating for a position on the ABRA Committee. ABRA needs you! Computer and keyboard skills and social media skills are an advantage but not essential.
